Congratulations to the duo from the Royal Lymington Yacht Club who won GOLD in Portugal on 11th July

Congratulations to the new 420 Class World ChampionsVita Heathcote and Milly Boylefrom the Royal Lymington Yacht Club.

The two 18 year old sailors won GOLD at the 2019 420 World Championships in Vilamoura, Portugal.

The 420 is an established worldwide performance two-person trapeze and spinnaker racing dinghy which holds status as a World Sailing Class and Learn-to-Sail recognised boat.

456 sailors from 24 nations competed in Vilamoura from Wednesday 3 July to Thursday 11 July with 89 boats in the Open fleet, 73 in the Women and 67 in the U17.
